Mis-sold PPI Is The Responsibility of The Bank Bosses, Says FSCP
How do we all feel about this idea:
All the mis-sold PPI that banks and lenders took part in should be paid back by the bank bosses, out of their own pocket.
All in favour… we don’t need to do a vote because it’s exactly what should happen. They’re ultimately responsible for how their Company acts and behaves, they get a huge bonus when times are good (and bad), so they should be the ones to pay out.
This idea belongs to Adam Phillips, chairman of the Financial Services Consumer Panel (FSCP), who has made it clear he wants the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to personally fine the most senior executives at banks that have taken part in mis-selling PPI.
